Well done to Grace Redmond, 5T who won a tablet!!
Grace was part of the fifth year Physics class who attended an online Zoom masterclass on ‘Astrophysics & Cosmology’ hosted by Dr. John Regan & Dr. Patrick Kavanagh from Maynooth University. This masterclass was part of science week celebrations and was open to all secondary school students studying Physics in fifth and sixth year. At the end of the 2-hour class, students were invited to take part in a competition to win a tablet. They were required to answer three questions based on the class & email Dr. John Regan their answers. A student was selected at random to win the tablet worth €400.
Well done to Grace who received this tablet on the 1st of December. Thank you to Ms. Caroline Clarke & Mr. Peter Macnamara for presenting this wonderful prize to Grace.
