We are delighted to announce the winners of our Easter competitions, organised by teachers in Religion, Home Economics, French, Spanish, Irish, Art, P.E.,Music and History. A big thank you to all the teachers involved and to everyone who participated. We will be adding more to this post so please check back for updates!
We received a song as one of our entries in the Music competition:
Aoife Whelan (5th Year) “When coming up with an idea for this song, I was thinking about how we are currently living through a global pandemic the likes of which has never been seen before. I also began thinking about how people have said that we will be a part of history books in years to come. This got me to thinking about a song choice and led me to the song “History” by One Direction.
This is an upbeat song and I chose it because times are gloomy enough as it is and I wanted to make a song that was fun and upbeat”
Congratulations and well done to:
5th Year Rachel Monahan, Frances Okpara, Aoife Whelan.
3rd Year Christine Oladipo.
