Loreto College won the Biodiversity Award for their project in the Eco-Unesco ‘Young Environmentalist Award’ competition in 2018. This year is the 20th Anniversary of the competition. The project is called ‘Bee Alert or Birds Get Hurt and it focuses on the importance of saving bees and birds as well as covering other wildlife such as fish, butterflies and hedgehogs. R.T.E. came to the school on Tuesday, 4 March and interviewed some of the students about the work they had done in this regard. Well done to all the students involved!
