Loreto College is delighted to be one of the 520 schools in Ireland where basketball is played at a very high competitive level. Each year, Loreto College field first Year, second Year, cadet and senior teams who compete in the Loreto and Schools Basketball Association of Ireland leagues and in the National Cup. Our basketball teams have achieved much success over the years; winning numerous Loreto and Dublin titles as well as reaching two All Ireland Finals.
Our coach is Mr. Ken Black, who has many years experience in playing and coaching at the highest levels both in Ireland and America.
