Transition Year Students with their Entry for Junk Kouture Competition 2016, with teacher Ms Marie Costello

Students’ description of their design:

 “This dress is made up of aluminium cans which is where the name ‘Alumaniac’ came from. The whole look gives you a sense of craziness but is still very aesthetically appealing. This design is unique as the the skirt is different to what has been done before and by folding the cans you get an overall bounciness to the dress.”
