Science Week took place nationwide from the 8th to 15th of November. We celebrated Science week in our school with numerous events for the students. A poster competition was open to all students to partake in to highlight ‘Key Words in Science’. Transition years were asked to volunteer to bake a Cake for Science Week. ‘Periodic Pressure’ game took place during lunchtime for students to play. First years had a demonstration of Science Experiments class. Third years completed a Science Quiz based on 1st & 2nd year material. The science department would like to thank the following 5th years for organising & running the quiz Ciara Maguire, Jordan Gibney, Naoise Sweeney, Eleanor Dunne, Marixa McKittrick and Alex McGrath. Well done to all the students who participated & celebrated Science week!
